CLIENT HIGHLIGHT: National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO, 2020)
Dr. Goldsmith was asked to develop an expert declaration on behalf of NATO in New Jersey that argued for the concept that movie theaters should be treated the same as other businesses. He reviewed the published literature and found that movies are not a source of Covid-19. And further he opined that if theater owners adopted the health and safety protocol (called CinemaSafe) they would provide as safe an environment as found in businesses such as outdoor restaurants and houses of worship.
