Workplace Health Without Borders

Dr. Goldsmith serves as President of Workplace Health Without Borders, US branch. The organization addresses occupational health and safety issues around the world to improve workplace health in regions with under-served worker populations.

The organization is comprised of expert occupational researchers and hygienists who provide technical assistance,  training and skills development to help others develop the capacity and local infrastructure to manage and improve health conditions in under-served workplaces.

Workplace Health Without Borders (US branch), WHWB-US, works with immigrant communities within the US and developing nations outside of the US. One of the ongoing projects at WHWB-US is pediatric health risks related to small scale gold mining. The organization has helped to bring a public health focus to an international issue by several professional presentations, including those at the 2020 International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) meting.
